Your training allowance will be structured as follows:

Requirements
For the training program to become a Generalist Nurse (RN):
- Intermediate school-leaving certificate (Realschule) or an equivalent qualification, or
- Successful completion of lower secondary school plus a two-year vocational training programme, or
- Training as a geriatric nursing assistant or nursing assistant
- Medical fitness
- Enjoy working with people

Our Generalist Nurse (RN) training program is AZAV-certified and eligible for funding through the Federal Employment Agency.

You can apply at any time.
Your training is delivered in block courses, meaning you spend about 3 weeks at school and then a few weeks at your placement. At the start of the program, you will receive a training plan showing how the theory and practical phases are scheduled.
Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 15:30
Friday: 08:30 – 13:45
f you meet certain requirements, you can apply to the Government of Upper Franconia to have the Generalist Nurse (RN) program shortened.

Our training programs to become a Generalist Nurse (RN) and a Nursing Assistant (Geriatric Care) are AZAV-certified and eligible for funding through the Federal Employment Agency. Please contact your employer or the Employment Agency responsible for you.
We support trainees with a migration background in learning German—both in class and in small study groups in the afternoons.
In learning support and reflection sessions, we work with our trainees to develop learning goals and strategies for finding solutions.
Our school social work team supports and advises trainees on any issues that could put their training at risk.
